Petition · past parliament
Fine MP's who go against the wishes of the majority of their constituents.

What the petition asks
MP's are elected to represent the wishes of the majority of their constituents & we are now regularly seeing them do the opposite. If this was happening in any other job that person would be disciplined & eventually be out of a job. MP's seem to think this does not apply to them & it should.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because it's not the UK Government or Parliament's responsibility to fine MPs for their political views.
