Authorities to tell landlords if they book people on bail into their Guesthouses

What the petition asks
When a person died in my guesthouse, I discovered that he was on bail and had been brought in by plain clothes detectives.
Since then I have had several attempted bookings for people on bail. Landlords must be told if bookings are for people on bail so that they can make informed decisions about whether to accept the booking.
Guesthouses should not be used for bail. In all cases there was no disclosure of the fact the person was on bail, no risk assessment of my premises or safeguarding of my children and guests who live or were booked into the property. This is a national problem that needs to be addressed.
