Change council tax so we only pay council tax for the services received.

I live on a private road and therefore receive no road maintenance. The council refuse to provide recycling and now have removed the doorstep collection for none recyclables. All that is required is fairness, in that people pay for the services required.

We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure exactly what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take. We aren't sure how you'd like the way council tax is calculated to change.

You could start a new petition to abolish council tax and have councils charge directly for services if that's something you'd like to see happen.
