Pass law to stop convicted criminals from holding public office.

What the petition asks

It appears that MP's can remain in office after being convicted of a crime and being released.

It is not acceptable to have convicted criminals serving as MP's.
Its made worse that one MP recently lied to try avoid being convicted.

Peterborough MP Fiona Onasanya denied she was driving her car when it was caught doing 41mph in a 30mph zone in Thorney, Cambridgeshire, in July 2017.
The 35-year-old Labour MP was convicted in an Old Bailey retrial.
