Petition · past parliament

Install cameras in nursery’s so the childcare workers can be observed.

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Videos go around the internet of children being abused by childcare workers in nursery’s. Parents pay a lot for child care and shouldn’t have to deal with this sort of problem, they’re meant to be safe. Parents should have the right to see if their child is being looked after professionally.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

The Government and Parliament aren't responsible for installing cameras in nurseries. Parliament could change the law, to make it a legal requirement for all nurseries to have CCTV.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
