Nationalise GCSEs and GCE A and AS Level Exam Boards in England

What the petition asks
Currently, there are many competing exam boards. They are forced to undercut each other to incentivise schools to use them, and often under-pay their workers to increase profits for shareholders, leading to sloppy errors in examination paper writing, poor quality marking, and easy exams.
A nationalised exam board would solve this: with the profit motive removed, exam-writers would be paid enough to care about the accuracy of their answers (https://www.theguardian.com/education/2018/jul/02/ofqual-record-fine-ocr-exam-board-error-english-paper-romeo-juliet). Illogical moderation strategies for coursework can be unfair to a number of students.
