Require all members of the House of Lords to be directly elected by the public
Rejected

What the petition asks
Despite reform the House of Lords is still entirely unelected by the British people, and instead appointed by politicians, chosen according to public office, or elected by other hereditary titled aristocrats. It is high time that our upper chamber was reformed to meet modern democratic standards.
