Remove vat from all sanitary products once we leave the European union.

What the petition asks

European union rules class sanitary products as non essential/ luxury product. This tax must be removed at the earliest opportunity. It unfairly discriminates against females and it's wrong.
In June 2018 the British Medical Association said free tampons should be provided by the state across the UK.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Get rid of the 5% luxury tax that women have to pay on sanitary products.
