Require 'European Union' to be retained on UK passports while we remain a member

What the petition asks

I am a UK and EU citizen and my passport should reflect that fact until such time as the UK finally leaves the EU. The UK Government has no right to remove the title of European citizenship unless and until the UK leaves.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Reinstate the words "European Union" on newly issued British passports.
