Address the excessive charges of VED on motorcycles

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Motorcycles do not add to congestion
Motorcycles do not damage the road, in general weighing much less than the smallest cars
Motorcycles can be more economical than some cars that pay little or no VED yet have to pay in excess of £90 p.a

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what you would like the UK Government or Parliament to do. We understand you are concerned about the level of VED on motorcycles but we aren't sure what action you would like the Government to take.

You could start a new petition setting out clearly how you would like VED on motorcycles to be changed.
