What the petition asks
The UK Government has prematurely authorised/instructed the UK Passport Agency to delete the words ‘European Union’ from UK Passports. The United Kingdom remains a member of the EU for the time being. Its citizens are EU citizens and have a fundamental right to carry a passport which is accurate.
