Review and update all laws and policing regulations regarding car crime.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Car crime is escalating rapidly month on month with gangs breaking into houses with young children, burning locks off of doors, running from police and generating significant fear in local communities. The brilliant police need to be given the resource and powers to combat this, making people safe.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

I understand that you are concerned about the impact that car crime has on local communities. However, it is not clear what you would like the Government or Parliament to do to update the law, or what powers would you like the police to have.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do
