What the petition asks
Rhuematoid disease is a better discrimination, because it's not just arthritis. It's an autoimmune disease and should be addressed as one. Arthritis doesn't effect your lung's or kidneys, liver function, or brain. But rhuematoid disease does.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions which call for actions that are the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament. It's not the responsibility of the Government to decide the names of diseases.
You could start a new petition calling for something the UK Parliament or Government are responsible for. For example, you could start a petition calling for increased funding for research or an awareness campaign, if those are things you want the Government or Parliament to do.
