What the petition asks

At present England is in the midst of a nursing shortage. Poor staffing levels are the number one reason Registered Nurses (RN's) leave the register. Evidence shows that patients get safer care when there are more RN's. It is in the best interests of everyone to introduce safe staffing legislation.
