What the petition asks
It seems on-line betting firms prey on the vulnerable. For most ‘punters’ it’s not a problem having a few quid at weekend for fun as they don’t get touched. It also seems no problem for people who chuck money at these firms and chase loses. For us ‘responsible’ sensible punters we get penalised.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about online gambling, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
