Grant Julian Assange asylum inside of the United Kingdom
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
On the 11th of April 2019 Julian Assange was arrested in London by the British Police. His asylum for Ecuador has been revoked and he is going to be extradited to Sweden and then possibly America. He deserves asylum in the UK, this is what the British people want.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
Granting someone asylum does not prevent them from being prosecuted or extradited, so we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
