No projected State visit by President Trump to mark the D-Day landings.

What the petition asks

The USA had a heroic role in fighting the forces of Nazism. We welcome a US representative of good character, but not a man so closely allied with modern Nationalist Populism, and race and religious hatred.
It is also unacceptable demand that the sovereign should be asked to receive such a man.
On the 8th of April 2019 the Metro reported that Trump was due to be given a state procession and visit before attending the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings memorials in June.
