What the petition asks
The European Union have allowed the UK more time to sort the Brexit mess giving us 29 weeks to try & reach an agreement, 12 of which the government are planning to be off? This has been going on for years & the public are exhausted with the process. Get on with the task at hand and cancel all breaks
Remain or leave opinions are irrelevant the government are employed to speak for their constituents and to do right by their country. This has been dragged out split our nation and is a national embarrassment. MPs should not be recessing they should be getting on with the task at hand. It’s took two year to get us to this mess so why would we think that 17 weeks is ample time to fix it? Nobody should be allowed a recess until we have a mutually agreed plan of action!
