What the petition asks

MPs are forever lying, or telling untruths, to their constituents for political gains and are never held accountable for it. Enforce heavier punishments to include suspension or termination of office when evidence finds foul play.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Make it a criminal offence for MPs to deliberately mislead the general public.
