Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

Julian Assange is the founder of WikiLeaks. One of the most well known hubs for freedom of speech and exposing corruption and illegal activities all the way up to top tier government level.

Following his arrest he is to be prosecuted in the US and it is in our interest to block this

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This is a decision for the courts, which are independent of the UK Government and Parliament.
