What the petition asks
Julian Assange and wikileaks have facilitated whistleblowers in highlighting injustices within powerful organisations across the globe. Despite his service to humanity as a journalist the US wish to extradite him from the UK to face criminal charges for exposing their own government and military.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
