Do not spend taxpayers' money on Notre Dam. Rehouse Grenfell survivors instead.

What the petition asks
Theresa May announced that the UK would support efforts to reconstruct the Notre Dam. At least €600m (£519m) has been raised to restore Notre-Dame within 24 hours of the catastrophe. Only £28m was raised for Grenfell tower, and most of it came from ordinary members of the general public.
Notre Dam will be rebuilt. 72 people died in the Grenfell tragedy, and some of the victims have still not been rehoused permanently. There is, apparently, no 'magic money tree' to pay nurses properly, no 'magic money tree' to rehouse the victims of the Grenfell tragedy, but we seemingly have enough money to support rebuilding Notre Dam when £519m has already been raised. Sign this petition to ensure that no taxpayer money is spent on the rebuild and to ensure that the Government puts any funding they were prepared to provide, towards rehousing Grenfell victims instead.
