Strengthen the hunting act Or enforce David Keene’s event plan structure

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The hunting act in the UK has failed miserably with mammals still being persecuted by hunts and each kill being blamed on the very people out to stop this happening or being described as an accident. This happens week in week out across the uk
David Keene police and crime commissioner put forward to hunts in Cheshire that they should provide and event plan, avoid areas that foxes and other mammals may be hiding/living, provide details of the scent used and also the reason for terrier men and terriers to be explained. All of which is not a problem if a true trail is being followed within the laws of this land.

Please sign to force action on this outdated and barbaric blood sport once and for all.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take. The UK Government or Parliament aren't responsible for enforcing the existing laws. This is the responsibility of the police.

You could start a new petition setting out clearly the changes you would like made to the Hunting Act.
