What the petition asks
I am a carer for my elderly parents who have many health issues between them, both are disabled and I get £66.15 a week with a £43 top up from income support, this is not enough to live on I take my parents to several appts each week so I need to run a car.
My daughter is 17 and wants to do an apprenticeship but we can’t afford for her to do this as I will lose child tax credit and child benefit
So to feed my daughter and myself if she does an apprenticeship pay my bills and run a car pay towards council tax. I’m also struggling myself with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia and autism so after caring for my parents all day I’m in agony and knackered by the evening and can’t take on a job too.
