Make online trolling Illegal in the UK
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
There are many businesses in the UK who receive hate whether this is online, over email etc. I want the UK government to put a law in place that prosecute those who troll online as online hate is not something anyone should have to put up with, not just in business but anywhere!
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. There are already laws covering use of social media, for example grossly offensive and malicious communications. We not sure exactly what types of online behaviour you want to make illegal. You can find out more about the current laws here:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
