Reform Dangerous Dogs Act to include unprovoked attacks on any other dog

What the petition asks
Although assistance dogs are considered in the Dangerous Dog Act, pet dogs are attacked daily, potentially causing lifelong harm and mental damage. It can also be traumatising to owners, who are left afraid to take their dog outside in fear of another attack.
In the Dangerous Dogs Act, it specifies, "if the dog while so out of control injures any person [or assistance dog ], an aggravated offence, under this subsection."
This makes no mention of other pet dogs, leaving them woefully unprotected against other dogs.
