What the petition asks

I am calling on you to declare climate emergency.
Our government have been hiding from it and protecting the oil company’s and fossil fuel companies (and the rest) who have caused this emergency.
Demands:

1) ban all new oil and gas company’s on the uk. Including fracking.
2) triple rentable energy by 2030.
3) planting 500 million trees.
4) introduction of frequent flyer tax.
5) ending the sale of all petrol and diesel cars by 2030.
6) rolling out free bus travel for all children and those on lower income.
7) end carbon emissions from industry like steel and cement.
8) create millions of jobs in new green economy ie mass hemp production for fuel biodegradable plastics ETC.
9) retrofitting homes for 0 carbon emissions.
10) reducing the impact of farming to the environment by encouraging less meat based production.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
