Speed restrictions to be upgraded on coal clough lane, scottpark road & cog lane

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

We would like speed cameras on coal clough lane and cog lane with traffic lights on the junction of coal clough lane and st Mathews street.
Pelican crossings near to the post office and Library.
A lot of vehicles speed up and down these roads and a lot of mirrors are smashed because of this.
People are in real danger and the speed bumps wont stop a go cart never mind a vehicle.
There have bern injuries in the past and it will become deadly if action is not taken sooner rather thsn later.
I have approached LCC with no joy, this community needs to feel safe and so do our vulnerable and our children.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because it's about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not responsible for. This would be the responsibility of Lancashire County Council.
