Make Lords resign their peerage if they wish to stand for elected office

Lord Adonis has made it clear that he wishes to stand as an MEP. It should be applauded that he has finally asked for approval for his appointment from the voters. However, he has consistently tried to undermine the result of the referendum and now wishes to "suspend" his membership hedging his bets

We can't accept petitions that call for someone to be given or lose their job.

You could start a new petition calling for a change in the law to disqualify anyone who is an MEP from being a Peer if that is something you would like to see happen.
