Scrap Brexit and save the planet

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Our children are frightened and understand the need for dramatic action in the next 10 years to avoid the nightmare of an uninhabitable Earth. This is a call for Parliament to cancel Brexit so that the UK and EU can avoid negotiating a trade deal for the next four years and focus on climate change.
David Attenborough and Greta Thunberg have recently highlighted what the world's scientists have been telling us:
- We can no longer put off drastic action
- We have 10 years to stop irreversible change
- Hope is not enough

It is time for our politicians to forget their differences and work with other countries to solve this crisis now.
