Petition · past parliament

Break the monopoly of ferry companies between IOW and Mainland.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

MP Bob Sealy is unfit for his duty and is deliberately blocking any attempts to give both islanders and mainland visitors the opportunity for a fixed road link to and from IOW. Forced to pay unreasonable prices with no other option.
People are frustrated but this cause is gaining momentum to oust Bob Sealy who is not serving his voters. A recent road accident meant people had to be airlifted at £8000 per trip! He is not listening to the voters who want a CHOICE. Both visitors and islanders are forced to take unreliable, extortionately priced ferries. These people are stuck without a voice.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept petitions for someone to lose their job.
