What the petition asks

A lot of Small businesses with takings under the VAT threshold wouldn’t survive or be sustainable. Making VAT a tiered system would allow small businesses to thrive and larger company’s to contribute more. A lot of small businesses are not 20% profitable as they hit the VAT threshold

The high street is something that is diminishing across the UK. It’s the heart of every community and although there are serveral issues around this. VAT is amongst one of the biggest. Small businesses offer jobs to local people, boosts local economy and gives our towns a Heart.
