Government to agree to the 3 climate change demands of Extinction Rebellion

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

We are facing an unprecedented global climate change emergency. Despite recent world wide protests, our government hasn't agreed to any of the three demands of the Extinction Rebellion.
We need to convince the government to change it's mind and agree to all of the demands.
The three demands:

1: Government must tell the truth by declaring a climate and ecological emergency, working with other institutions to communicate the urgency for change.

2: Government must act now to halt biodiversity loss and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2025

3: Government must create and be led by the decisions of a Citizens’ Assembly on climate and ecological justice.
