What the petition asks
Many women over 60 have lost pension entitlement due to the Govt increasing the retirement age. Not enough time was given to make alternative financial arrangements. Those in low paid jobs and unemployed have been put in a difficult financial situation.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what you mean by "compensate women who have lost state pension". We aren't sure what payments you have in mind or which groups of women it would apply to.
You could start a petition calling on the Government to reverse the age changes if that is something you would like to see happen.
