What the petition asks
Chris Packham is a stalwart for British wildlife and requires full support from fellow wildlife conservationalists. There is a blatant conspiracy to silence his voice in his support of conservation and future survival of wildlife & habitats the world over.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
