What the petition asks
My husband Colin passed away on the 7/10/18 at 50. He had a hidden heart condition known as Cardiomegaly (an enlarged heart)
The only effective treatment for sudden cardiac arrest is to reinstate the hearts normal rhythm by using an automated external defibrillator to deliver shock to the heart.

With an Automated External Defibrillator on hand the chances of survival increase –
Immediate defibrillation -?90%
After 2 minutes - ??75%
After 4 minutes - ??55%
After 6 minutes - ??36%
After 8 minutes -??16%
After 10 minutes the chances of survival are remote.
The ambulance for Colin took 9 minutes to arrive.
