What the petition asks
We are being gas-lit by politicians and broadcasters when votes are read to mean the absolute opposite of what the relevant parties stand for. This must stop. Politicians must be open and honest when making public statements. We need to hear a statement in public.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The UK Parliament and Government are not responsible for the opinions of individual MPs, Ministers or Prime Ministers.
If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or Parliament, you could start a petition about that.
