Petition to stop breeding dogs for testing, in British puppy farms

What the petition asks
The UK government have just approved a new puppy farm in Grimston, near Hull, where puppies will be specifically bred for animal testing. A facility already exists in Harlan, Cambridgeshire, where approximately 3,000 Beagles are bred every year, to be cut open and experimented on, while still alive.
This is completely unnecessary, there are a number of different methods for testing, that mimic the human body much more accurately. The following articles give examples of this:
