What the petition asks

Spurs and Liverpool are in the final of the champions league on the 1 June 2019. A huge event with significant interest to a British audience yet because this match is only available on BT sport, a service that requires a subscription, few people will be able to watch it. This game should be free.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you'd like more sports events to be shown on free to view TV, but we aren't sure exactly what sport events you'd like included.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what events you'd like the Government to include.
