So far in 2019 there have been several moorland fires across the country.
One of the worst was in Marsden and devastated 10sq kilometres of land killing wildlife and destroying a £360,000 habitat project.

A temporary BBQ and fire ban has been brought in by Kirklees Council but we want a nationwide law with heavier fines and potential court action.
