Require bus companies to use only zero emission or hybrid buses by 2030

What the petition asks
Transport for London has already announced that from 2020, all single decker buses entering service will be zero emission (electric or hydrogen) - (A). As Parliament has declared a ‘climate emergency’, it is only right that we set ambitious goals for clean buses across the whole of England.
I ask that the UK government requires bus companies across England to use only zero emission single decker buses and zero emission/hybrid double decker buses by 2030 at the absolute latest. This should help us to meet a target of zero emissions by 2050, which many scientists argue is absolutely necessary to ensure a future for our planet (B).
