Reduce council tax payments .

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Council tax has caused many families to be dragged into unwanted debts , think about how many bills that council tax payment can pay off . It isn't fair to pay over £150 a month towards an anonymous payments.
Council tax was generated in order to help with austerity , as we all know the austerity has ended and yet we have seen no reduction in council tax that should of been wiped off completely . it is an unfair payment knowing that we are already paying enough towards our income tax and national insurance contributions , not forgetting all the expensive bills we are already facing .
