To protect young children by ensuring dogs are walked on leads in public paths.

What the petition asks

Dogs randomly coming up to pushchairs and sniffing youngsters or jumping on them whilst their owners are way behind them is clearly cause for concern.
Designated areas for dogs would help.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Make a law that states all dogs must be on leads in public places.
