What the petition asks

Ofsted should be specifically reviewing the process and support given by schools to support Young Carers. Many Young Carers are hidden but, with support and knowledge that schools could provide, this can change. Being a Young Carer can be challenging sometimes affecting the young person's education.

This petition has been put here by a young person who was a young carer and is a member of the local youth council. The members of the youth council believe that the support that schools should be giving to young carers is something that should be reflected in the inspection process and the reports.
