Make all A-level courses modular based examinations

Closed 50 signatures

What the petition asks

A-Levels are wrongly designed to benefit students who have greater capacity for memory. Therefore making the exams a test of memory rather than a students capability to answer comprehensive questions. Within the sixth form environment students experience unprecedented stress due to the examinations
if the exams were structured in a modular way, focus would be put on a students ability to engage with questions, focusing therefore on continuous progress throughout the two year period rather than simply remembering content for two years which is both unrealistic and flawed.
