What the petition asks
The DVLA provides motorists personal information to third party companies, for example private parking companies such as: Parking Eye, NCP etc.
When the motorist signs registration documents for a motor vehicle, the DVLA assumes the right to share your personal information. There is no opt out tick box.
The sale of our information is then used to demand disproportionate sums of money from motorists for minor parking infringements by companies with threats of court action.
