Stop antisocial behaviour in Harefield. Southampton

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Harefield Southampton has seen an increase in antisocial behaviour. Residents have contacted the police on more than one occasion and the police have failed to act.
We would like the government and local MPs to investigate why no actions are being taken by the police to prevent this from happening and not taking action agenst the individual(s) or their parents.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise.

Local policing operational policing matters would be a matter for the chief constable, with the local police and crime commissioner holding the chief constable to account for performance.

You can contact Hampshire's police and crime commissioner here:

Alternatively, you may wish to contact your local MP about the antisocial behaviour you describe. You can find their contact details out here:

In any case, people who create petitions are required to give their full, real name. Sorry if this wasn’t clear to you.
