Abolish the TV licence
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
Since the introduction of the TV licence in 1946 TV has changed. The TV licence should be used more as a subscription rather than compulsory fee. With an estimated 480 channels in the uk and subscription networks, this should be modernised and the BBC should self fund via advertising
