What the petition asks
Make it legal and easy to claim your state pension or national insurance if you are diagnosed with a Terminal illness and will not live to claim it at the official age.
If you are diagnosed with a terminal illness you can still not claim your State Pension or National insurance. until you reach the national pension age. Like me I am 55 and have worked all my life serving my county and helping people in the Ambulance Service I will be long gone before I would get my pension which is designed to help you in your old age. But I and may thousands of others will not reach that age. It should be used to help us in our time of need. after all It is our money!
