What the petition asks

After losing our baby who was stillborn at 34 weeks today i was told there is a further 6months to wait before Counselling would be available that is a total of nine months after our baby died i have to wait for any sort of help.

9months is far too long to wait for somebody who has lost a child for any sort of help, what if somebody doesn't have 9 months left in them? What about the people who can’t afford private therapy, and what about the fathers mental wellbeing? Not once has my partners name been addressed for any follow up after care, don't fathers grieve the death of their child? I want this changing. I want both bereaved mothers and fathers to be offered instant one to one therapy VIA NHS when their child dies.
